Click Save to record all changes made in the Security Options.
Click Cancel to clear any changes you made during this session in the Security Options.
Click Password to change an existing password when SAM Intercept is locked.
'Lock SAM Intercept' toggles on and off SAM Intercept's lock feature. By locking SAM Intercept, you can prevent others from tampering with the program or its options in any way. You must have the password to get into the SAM Intercept control panel.
'Disallow scan cancelling' prevents a SAM Intercept scan from being cancelled while it is in progress.
'Always eject infected floppies' forces you to eject infected floppy disks because only the Eject button is hilited in the virus alerts.
'Always stop infected launches' prevents infected applications from being started because the Continue button is disabled in the launch alerts.
'Disable Learn button' disables the Learn button in the SAM Intercept Alert. Exceptions cannot be added to the Exceptions List when this option is on.
'Remove alerts after ... seconds' sets the number of seconds a SAM Intercept alert remains on the screen before SAM selects the default response and clears the alert.
'Insert into alerts' lets you add a message to the virus alerts. Click the check box, and type the message in the text box.
Type a number between 1 and 60 for the number of seconds.
Type the custom message, from 1 and 63 characters in length, you want displayed in virus alerts. It will be truncated if necessary to fit into virus alerts.
'Creator' lets you choose one of the existing creator codes or type a four-character creator code for the audit trail file. The creator tells the Macintosh which application the file belongs to.
'Virus Alert Sound' lets you choose which sound SAM Intercept plays when virus alerts is displayed. You'll hear the sound when you choose it from the pop-up menu.
'Audit Trail Options' lets you turn on and off the audit trail feature, choose what is saved in the audit trail, or clear an existing audit trail.

'Security Options' let you protect SAM Intercept from unwanted intruders and customize features of the SAM Intercept INIT.
